Dr. Shoko Sato
Building a Foundation for Health
“Hello, my name is Dr. Shoko Sato, and I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to join Dr. LeCuyer, Dr. Amato, and the team here at LeCuyer & Amato Dentistry located in the Madison Medical Tower on the Swedish First Hill Campus in Seattle.
In my home country of Japan, I practiced as a general dentist for five years prior to starting the graduate periodontology program at USC. Continuing to improve my qualifications, I have completed my postgraduate program in periodontology and my master’s degree in craniofacial biology at the Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC in Los Angeles. This intensive training has added a great deal of theoretical and hands-on experience to my existing skills in dentistry.
Attending continuing education programs in the United States and Japan has afforded me the experience in treating patients with higher, more advanced skills. As a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, I have achieved the highest level possible for a clinician, which brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to Puget Sound periodontics at this time.”

I enjoy being very active, which started at a young age with my older brother. My favorite love is participating in horse riding and scuba diving. My horse riding started when I was a little girl, where I focused on
My favorite horse is now the background wallpaper on my phone and computer. My love for horses has also allowed me to become an expert at braiding horsehair, yet I still have trouble braiding my own. Recently, I went to a golf course where I was able to ride a horse and golf. It was my favorite place on earth!
Your team is always stellar! Thank you!
