Dr. LeCuyer Is Retiring! (Read His Farewell Letter)

To my dear patients,

It is with very mixed emotions to announce that after 39 years of practicing dentistry, I plan on retiring at year’s end.

Having developed so many meaningful relationships, it will truly be very difficult to step away.

In the past four decades, I have seen so many of you through the many stages of life and you have watched me through the same. I will continue to consider you all my friends and am grateful to you all for making my career so enjoyable.

It has been a privilege to be your dentist. Your trust in me has been humbling and rewarding.

Dr. Paul Amato and Dr. Shoko Sato will continue in my place, along with Dr. Will Lowrey, who joined our practice this fall.

Dr. Amato has practiced with me for fifteen years and may not need an introduction to many of you. He is a graduate of the University of Washington School of Dentistry and is married to Rebecca, also a dentist, with whom he shares three fine young sons. He is a Fellow in the American Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. Sato practiced general dentistry in Japan for five years and then continued on to the University of Southern California’s School of Dentistry, where she earned a graduate certificate in the periodontology program and a master’s degree in craniofacial biology.

Dr. Lowrey hails from Vermont and is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. After dental school, Dr. Lowrey completed a hospital-based general practice residency. He has been working in Federal Way for the past two years but lives nearby in Capitol Hill with his fiancé, Kathleen.

Along with all of our outstanding team, they will be honored to continue serving your dental needs as our office maintains vigilant and strict protocols toward preventing COVID-19 and other infectious diseases.

I am looking forward to sharing much more time with my wife, Maria, while our four kids at ages 22-27 are on their respective paths (yes, how did that happen so fast?!).

However, I can’t tell you how much I will miss seeing you all for our semi-annual visits!

Best to you all,
Chris
